KENNESAW, GA – October 28, 2011-- Yamaha WaterCraft Group, a division of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., today announced updates to its iPhone®/iPad® mobile applications as well as two new mobile websites that reflect the recently introduced 2012 WaveRunner® and Boat product lines.
Yamaha’s free mobile app provides a complete overview of its 2012 WaveRunners and Boats, including photos, videos, specs, features, product comparisons, social sharing applications and more - all on the users’ handheld or tablet device. Current app users will receive an update notification. New users can download the mobile app for iPhone and iPad from Apple’s® App Store. The update for Yamaha’s Android™ app will be live in coming days.
In addition, Yamaha has launched two new mobile websites that offer a media rich, engaging and dynamic experience that is designed for the next generation of smartphones. These websites offer an app-like user experience based on HTML5 programming that offers touch and swipe navigation, along with full rich media, social media integration and all the latest news and promotions from Yamaha. The new mobile websites can be accessed at www.WaveRunner.mobi and www.YamahaBoats.mobi via your mobile handset.
